This SOP explains how to activate a coupon code so it appears during online ordering checkout in the Twirl Portal.
Log in and open the website management area
- Sign in to the Twirl Portal.
- From the top menu, select Sales.
- Click Online Store and Website to open the
website management section.
Select the correct website and open customization settings
- Under My Website, locate the website where you
want the coupon code enabled. - Click the website name.
- Select Customize to open the website settings.
Enable coupon code display at checkout
- In the Online Ordering settings, find
Display coupon code on checkout. - Scroll if needed until you see the coupon code option.
- Toggle the setting ON to enable coupon code entry at checkout.
- Enter the coupon code. Add the coupon description.
- Make sure the coupon option itself is enabled before saving.
- Click Save Settings to apply the changes.
Verify the coupon code appears on checkout
- Open the online ordering website. Add an item to the cart. Proceed to Checkout.
- Confirm the coupon code field is visible on the checkout page.
- Enter the created coupon code in the checkout field. Apply the coupon.
- Verify the discount is reflected and the coupon is applied successfully.
