Sort Menu Items from POS via the Admin Portal
This explains how to reorder menu items within a category from the POS admin portal. Follow these steps to update the item sequence and verify the new order is displayed correctly in the POS.
1. Login to Twirll POS. From the POS interface, click the Twirll logo. Navigate to Manage Operation. Open the Admin Portal.

3. Sort the Items
- Click Manage Menu.
- Select Menu Overview.
- Choose the target category, such as Dessert.
- Confirm the items under that category are displayed.
4. Save the New Order
- Click Sort Item to enable reordering.
- Drag and drop items into the required sequence.
- Place the desired top item first (for example, Pistachio Kulfi).
- Continue arranging the remaining items in the correct order.
5. Verify the Updated Display Order
- Review the item order before saving.
- Click Save Sorting to apply the changes.
- Wait for the system to confirm the update is saved.
- Return to the POS or refresh the page.
- Reopen the same category, such as Dessert.
- Confirm the items appear in the updated order.
- If the order is incorrect, repeat the sorting and save process.
