Renaming and updating seat capacity of Tables

This explains how to update a table’s name, seating capacity, and enable or disable a table in the POS system. Following these steps helps keep the dining area’s seating arrangement accurate and up to date.

1. Open the Manage Operation Section

  • From the POS home screen, click the Twirll Logo.
  • Select Manage Operation.
  • Scroll down to the Seating Arrangement section.
  • Select the table area where you want to update the table details.

2. Edit a Table in the Dining Hall

  • Click on Dining Hall.
  • Click Edit next to the table you want to update.
  • Enter the new table name.
  • Example: Table 1 → Indoor 1.
  • Review the table name before saving.

3. Repeat the Process for All Tables

  • Repeat the same steps for each table that requires updating.
  • Rename every table as needed.
  • If a table has a different seating capacity, update the person count accordingly.
  • The default seating capacity is 4 people.

4. Update Person Count and Enable/Disable the Table

  • Change the Number of Persons if the table has a different seating capacity.
  • Example: Change Indoor 2 from 4 to 8 people.
  • Enable or disable the table as required.
  • Use the checkbox to control the table’s status.

5. Save and Verify the Changes

  • Click Save or Update after completing all changes.
  •  Go on POS, Perform sync and refresh, And then check the updated seat.
