View/Print Invoice

Invoices are defined as a list of goods sent or services provided, with a statement of the sum due for these. In another words we can name it as a bill. Invoice are generated for an order in Order Detail screen in “More” section(Fig. 1, Fig. 2)

There are Following Sections that an Invoice have

  1. Business Details : Business details from which the order has been placed is visible on the top of invoice
  2. QR code : This QR code contains all the details regarding the Order and scanning this code will open details in your Mobile
  3. Billing Details : Billing details Contains name of person and address(if provided). It shows, by whose name bill has to be generated.
  4. Shipping Details : This section is only visible when it is a delivery order. This section also contains name and address of the person to whom item is to be shipped.
  5. Order Details : Order details contains all the details regarding current order like Order Id, Invoice Id, Order Type and Date on which order has been placed
  6. Items List : Item List table contains all the elements that are selected in an order, this table contains individual details of items that are selected
  7. Taxes : If taxes are applied to items then they are visible right below Items list with types of taxes applied and amount of taxes that are applicable on sum total
  8. Net payment : This Section shows due amount and total paid amount of an order
  9. Payment Summary : Payment summary contains all payment details like how much amount has been paid and by which medium and it also shows how much amount has been refunded to customer.
  10. Print: to get a hard copy of Invoice click on print button which will open a pop up , select your preferences and then print copy of an Invoice.

Printing an Invoice

When we click on Print button, our invoice will be opened up in a pop up(Fig.4)

There are various options available on this section which are

  1. Destination : This shows action to be taken on Invoice, we can select available printers from here or rather we can save our Invoice as a PDF file
  2. Pages : This is used to select custom page range so that we could exclude pages that are not necessary for printing
  3. Color/Black and White : It is an Option to select how do you want your print out to be. It can be either black and white or a colored print
  4. Paper Size: This represent size of paper you want to select for printing, the various options to be selected are A3 ,A4, B5  and much more, you can select paper size of your requirement and print Invoice
  5. Margins : Margins are the spacing of Invoice content to the border of page. It is used to adjust the view of Invoice as per need
  6. Quality : Quality of Invoice represents clearness , more dpi means more clearness
  7. Scale : Scale Represents zoom level of Invoice default is taken as 100 reducing this value will zoom out your view and Increasing this value will zoom-in into Invoice
  8. Options : It gives an option to include/exclude Background in Invoice
