This guide provides quick steps to connect the Epson TM-M30III printer to a WiFi network. It explains how to scan the QR code, log in with the printer’s serial number, access WiFi settings, join the printer’s network, and select your WiFi to complete the setup.
Steps to Enter Setup Mode – TM-M30III Printer
Step 1: Enter Setup Mode
- Open the printer cover. The orange exclamation mark indicator will start blinking.
- Press the Feed button once and release quickly.
- Close the printer cover, The printer will print a status sheet indicating “Enter Setup Mode.”
- Enter Simple AP Setting (Simple Access Point Mode)
- Press the Feed button 5 times quickly, Each press should be less than 1 second.
- On the 6th press, hold the Feed button,The 6th press must be a long press.
- The printer will print a Simple AP QR Code, Scan this QR code to connect to the printer’s WiFi.
The printer will broadcast its own Wi-Fi network, which you can join from your mobile device.

Step 2: Scan the QR code displayed on the printer screen to access the setup page. Enter the printer’s serial number to log in to the configuration panel.
Step 3: Select WiFi from the main menu (first option).
Step 4: Click Join to connect your device to the printer’s temporary WiFi network.
Step 5: Choose your WiFi network from the list (non-5G network) and enter the password.
