Manage Ingredient / Recipe / Raw material

You can manage base material for your furnished items, we call them ingredients, recipe or raw material depending upon industry.

To Add Ingredient / Recipe / Raw material for item.
1. Need to create/add item(s) in system, this item(s) will furthur attached with finished item(s).

1. Access “Operation” from Admin Portal to create Recipe.

   Operation >>Manage Item >> Item overview

   
   
   

2. Search the Item on which you want to add Ingredients. Once you found select the item
   
   
   
3. One item might have multiple variants and they may have different recipe, Click on variant link to define recipe for the variants.
   
   
   
4. Goto Settings -> Recipe/Raw Material
   
   Search and select ingredient/raw-material item, which will reduce at sale of this parent item.
   Enter Following details
   Ingredient Name :- to search the dependent ingredients, Type and search for right ingredient name, it will show matching suggestions. (Mandatory)
   Reduce Qty :- Enter the quantity by which the ingredient will reduce when 1 unit gets consumed of furnished item.(Mandatory)
   Once the all ingredients entries are done then click on “Save Changes” button

NOTE: Furnished item can also be tagged as ingredients in case of Combos.
