Adding a comment to an item in an order is useful for communicating specific customer requests, such as “Serve it first” or “No spice”.
These comments are visible at order as well as will print in the kitchen in manner to help waiters, chefs, or other staff fulfill the customer’s needs.
Steps to Add a Comment to an Item

- Open the Item Details Page
- Tap on the arrowhead icon (>) next to the item (as shown in the image below) to open the item details page.
- Open the Item Details Page
- Enter the Comment
- In the comment field, type the specific information or request for the item.
