This SOP explains how to enable or disable the Product View setting in the Twirll Portal for a selected location. This setting controls how products and their variants are displayed on the POS, allowing businesses to customize the ordering experience.
1. Understand What Product View Controls
- Product View determines how products are displayed on the POS screen.
- Enabled: Products are displayed first. Selecting a product opens its available variants.
- Disabled: Products and their variants are displayed directly according to the configured POS layout.
- This setting is especially useful for businesses that manage multiple product variants.
2. Open the Location Settings in the Twirll Portal
- Log in to the Twirll Portal.
- Click More. Navigate to Admin.
- Select Locations. Open the location where you want to update the Product View setting
.
3. Access the POS Advanced Settings
- Within the selected location, open Advanced Settings.
4. Enable /Disable Product view
- Click POS.
- Scroll down until you find the Show Product View option.
5. Enable Product View
- Locate the Show Product View toggle.
- Turn the toggle On.
- Click Apply to save the changes.
6. Disable Product View
- Locate the Show Product View toggle.
- Turn the toggle Off.
- Click Save to apply the changes.
7. Verify the Update on the POS
- Open the POS for the selected location.
- Verify that the product display matches the selected Product View setting.
