Overview
This documentation explains how to configure the Return Screen from Cart settings for a shopping cart in a web application. Users can be redirected to specific pages such as the menu, item list, or category page after interacting with the cart.
Introduction to Return Screen Configuration
- The return screen setting controls where users are redirected after click on add more button in edit cart page.
- This is useful for directing users back to the menu, item list, or category page.
Accessing Web Manager for Configuration
To configure the return screen settings, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Web Manager.
- Click on Sales.
- Select Online Store Website.
- Click Customize to access the settings.
Setting the Return Screen Options
In the Website Setup, locate the Product Listing Page and find the option:
Set Return Screen from Cart.
- The dropdown menu includes three options:
- Menu: Redirects users to the menu page.
- Item List: Redirects users to the item list page.
- Category: Redirects users to the category page.
- Select the desired option and click Save Settings.
Testing the Configuration
After configuring the return screen settings:
- Refresh the page and test the cart functionality.
- Example:
- If Menu is selected, users should return to the menu page after click on add more button on edit cart page.
- Change the setting to Category and verify that users are redirected to the category page instead.
