  • Customer detail settings allow collection of customer information directly on the menu page based on order type and location.
  • Information collected includes name, email, and phone number, which are
    essential for processing customer orders.

Accessing Customer Detail Configuration

Customize Setting

  1. Navigate to the business portal.
  2. Go to Sales > Online Store >
    Websites.
  3. Select the application you want to customize and click
    Customize.
  4. Open Website Setup and go to the
    Customer Details section.

  • Example: For All Location
  • Select All  Order Type from Select Order Type drop down:
    • Enable collection of Name and Phone Number.
  • Mark Name as required for all order types.
  • Save the settings and refresh the website to apply changes.

To configure different fields for Delivery and Takeaway:

  1. Access the Web Manager.
  2. Delete existing configurations for All order type
  3. Example: For Delivery, add Name and Phone Number.
  4. For Takeaway, add only Name and mark it as required.
  5. Save the settings and refresh the website to verify changes.

To configure customer details based on specific locations:

  1. In the Twill Web Manager, select
    Override Customer Details Locations.
  2. Melbourne:
    • Delivery: Name and Phone Number
    • Takeaway: Name and Phone Number
  3. Sydney:
    • Delivery: Name and Phone Number
    • Takeaway: Only Name
  4. Save the settings and refresh the website to confirm configurations.

  • Confirm the final setup:
    • Melbourne:
      • Delivery: Name and Phone Number
      • Takeaway: Name and Phone Number
    • Sydney:
      • Delivery: Name and Phone Number
      • Takeaway: Only Name
  • Test configurations by placing orders for both locations to ensure the
    correct fields are displayed.
