KDS Setting

      1. Go to KDS Settings.

        Advance Operations >> Manage IOT Device >> Select KDS Device >> Configure New API

      2. Checkout KDS Settings/Configuration

        – Device Details
        Once you select the device type, the other settings will be visible for configuration.

        • Chef Screen (KDS): Purpose of this display is food preparation and notify(to Managing department, Waiter, or Customer), and usually used by the kitchen department.
        • Dispatch Manager (KDM): This display is basically for tracking order status purpose and take action accordingly.
        • Token Display (KDT): Whenever the food is ready it shows the token number so waiting customer could come and pick (Also use to notify serving people of restaurant for serve).
      3. Device Friendly Name -> Enter your KDS screen name.
        This name appears on the KDS screen, it helps when you have multiple KDS screens of the same display type.– Select Theme

        Two Types of Theme are available:

        • STANDARD
        • COMPACT

        – Print settings

        Activate this option to direct the Receipt printing from the KDS device to a designated printer.

      4. – Design Your Kitchen Workflow.
        Workflow will help to decide your next action on Order and update the status of Order. You can customize the workflow according to your kitchen activity.

      5. Available Workflow Statuses:
        • Pending
        • Preparing
        • Prepared
        • Ready
        • Served

         

        1. Strikethrough Items when it reached to the last status of your designed workflow.
        2. Select Checkbox to display last status order when it is completed/served.
