Restrict a Customer for Sales Orders

This feature allows you to restrict specific customers from placing new sales orders. You may use this option for customers with pending dues or any other business-related concerns. Once restricted, the customer will be blocked from placing sales orders via the POS.

Use this feature when you want to:

  • Prevent sales to customers with unpaid bills.
  • Temporarily stop sales to specific customers.
  • Block suspicious or inactive customer accounts from placing new orders.

Steps to Restrict a Customer

  1. Navigate to the Manage Customers section from the left-hand menu under Sales.
  2. Click on All Customer.
  3. Search for the customer you wish to restrict and open their details.
  4. In the customer profile, find the Restrict Sales Order option.
  5. Enable or check the option to restrict sales.
  6. Click Save to apply changes.


Effect of Restriction

  • The restricted customer will not be selectable in the POS while creating a new sales order.
  • Any attempt to create a sales order for a restricted customer will be blocked.
  • You can remove the restriction anytime by unchecking the Restrict Sales Order option.
